Inter have been keeping tabs on Piotr Zielinski, whose Napoli contract runs out at the end of the season. They had new contacts with his camp to learn about the terms of the potential addition. Even though he’d eventually join them in a Bosman move, should the Partenopei fail to retain him, the signing would still be pretty expensive, Calciomercato informs.
The Nerazzurri were informed that it was indeed possible that the Pole would leave Campania in June. On the other hand, he asks for a long-term pact with €4M wages and his entourage demands €4/5M commissions. The signing would cost around €40M.
Inter are eying Zielinski as they anticipate moving on from Stefano Sensi and Davy Klaassen at the end of the season. They are in the same contractual situation. Their departures would open room to fit the newcomer’s salary in their payroll without complications.
