Inter are assembling their defense for next season, which won’t feature Milan Skriniar. The process will start with keeping two of their own, Stefan De Vrij and Francesco Acerbi. “I think he will stay. We had to discuss the final details, but his intention is clear and the club wants to keep him. We are getting there. The new contract will be a two-year one.”
Instead, the other veteran is currently on loan from Lazio.
“There’s an option to buy that just needs to be exercised. I believe it can be taken for granted considering his extraordinary season. Everybody was happy when we agreed to the sum last summer.”
Inter will add one or two more pieces to their defense. Yann Bisseck has recently emerged as a concrete target. The brass will have a summit with his representatives Friday, Sky informs (via Eurosport). There is a €7M release clause in his contract with Aarhus. The 22-year-old found his footing in Denmark after switching sides multiple times. The Koln product also starred for Holster Kiel, Roda, and Vitoria Guimaraes in recent seasons. He has four caps with Germany U21.
The Nerazzurri are likely to retain Raoul Bellanova, who had a seesawing first campaign in Milan, Calciomercato informs. They hold a €7M clause after shelling out €3M last year. Cagliari director Nereo Bonato talked about it to Radiolina (via SportMediaset).
