Inter might be in for a busy transfer period in the summer, with three players reportedly in the fray to stay at the club for the long run. Despite currently being outside looking in the top four in Serie A, the Nerazzurri are still in contention to land the coveted continental title, as they await to take on derby rivals Milan in the final four.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FCInterNews), three players – Nicolò Barella, Lautaro Martinez, and Alessandro Bastoni – have been identified by the Inter management to stay at the club for the coming season and perhaps further.
They are reportedly deemed non-transferable by the Nerazzurri brass, and are likely to see contract extensions come their way in the coming weeks and/or months.
Out of the three, Barella has been closely linked to an exit, with Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain interested in luring the Italian midfielder to Anfield. Bastoni and Lautaro have not seen any concrete interest materialize their way.
