Inter Interested in Signing Borussia Moenchengladbach Duo

Matthias Ginter is not the only Borussia Moenchengladbach player Inter are chasing after. They are eyeing also Ramy Bensebaini, whom they consider a quality alternative to their other targets for the left flank. Under the right circumstances, they could make a move to acquire him in January already, Corriere dello Sport reports.

The Algerian international, who will partake in AFCON, has a €20M price tag. The Nerazzurri are looking to add somebody on loan with option to buy. Aleksandar Kolarov appears to be on his way out. Some rumors suggest he might even retire mid-season. Coach Simone Inzaghi prefers using Federico Dimarco in the backline, so they would be one man short on the wing.

If the veteran does leave the team, Inter will approach Borussia Moenchengladbach to test the waters. Bensebaini is a more attainable objective than Lucas Digne and Filip Kostic. Everton are holding firm on their demands, as the Frenchman has multiple suitors. The Eintracht Frankfurt ace is rather pricey too, and purchasing him would require a proper investment. He remains a strong candidate to replace Ivan Perisic down the line.

Instead, Ginter is in their sights for a potential Bosman move. According to SportMediaset, Inter offered a four-year contract with €3.5M wages. They believe to have a strong chance to win the race. It would be their second free-agent signing after André Onana. At this stage, they are pursuing the center-back to add to their defense and not necessarily replace Milan Skriniar or Stefan De Vrij.
