Inter Join Juventus in Race to Sign Gladbach Wing-Back Bensebaini

With the winter transfer window quickly approaching, Inter continue to show their intent of bolstering their squad as the Nerazzurri are set to join Juventus in the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach wing-back Ramy Bensebaini.

Since arriving from French outfits Rennes in the summer of 2019, the 27 year-old scored 17 goals in 75 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga giants. As result, his consistent displays established himself as a staple within the German outfits’ lineup.

With the Algerian international’s contract with Bourssia Monchengladbach set to expire at the end of the current season, both Inter and Juventus have listed Bensebaini as a target in order to order to improve the full-back position within their respective squads, as per Calciomercato.

As it stands, it is uncertain whether Robin Gosens will remain at Inter for the remainder of the season due to a lack of playing time under Inzaghi. Furthemore, it seems very unlikely that the Bianconeri will keep Alex Sandro following this year’s campaign as a result of his inconsistent displays.

Consequently, both Serie A giants view Bensebaini as a player that can play a pivotal role in enhancing the depth within each other’s squads, making them very eager in potentially signing the explosive wing-back for free ahead of next season.
