Inter are on the verge of boosting their defensive line with a teenage talent from Uruguay. Defensor Sporting defender Alan Matturro is in the sights of Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausiliio, who is currently pushing for a deal.
Tuttosport (via FCInterNews) reports of a €3M deal with a clause of a 20% future resale being prepared by Inter for the highly-rated Uruguayan talent following a positive response from the scouting department with regard to the youngster’s development this term. Inter are looking to thwart away interest from other European heavyweights, including AFC Ajax.
The Dutch giants have kept a willful eye on the 18-year-old center-back for quite a while now, but Inter look heavily interested in beating their transfer competition come January, when they plan land a deal for him before they send him back to Defensor Sporting on loan until the end of the season.
Inter are currently keen on bolstering their backline. Signing Matturro will make him the youngest defender in the team from outside Inter Primavera.
