Inter Looking at Former Player to Complete the Attack

Inter are continuing their search for a fourth forward and have had some recent contracts with the agents of Eder, who is keen on leaving Jiangsu Suning, Sky Sport and Gazzetta dello Sport report. The 32-year-old attacker spent two years with the Nerazzurri from 2016 to 2018, amassing 86 appearances and notching 14 goals and eight assists.

Eder also has some familiarity with coach Antonio Conte as he was a regular during his tenure with the Azzurri and in particularly in Euro 2016. He also played for Empoli, Frosinone, Brescia, Cesena and Sampdoria in Italy, while he has scored 32 goals in 62 matches in China. One of his representatives Fausto Pari told Radio Kiss Kiss: “He wants to return to Serie A, but I do not know if he will go to Inter.”

He would take Andrea Pinamonti’s spot in the roster, who is set to leave to play more and has been linked to a number of teams, with Benevento being the latest contender. Gazzetta added that, while Eder is an option, the preferred one remains Gervinho and that the role will be filled with a last-minute deal.

Moreover, Sky indicated that Inter have received no real offers for Christian Eriksen, at most some inquires to have him on loan for six months coming from Valencia, Ajax and Wolverhampton, while PSG have not accelerated on the previously reported swap with Christian Paredes despite the hiring of his former coach Mauricio Pochettino.
