With Milan Skriniar destined to leave Inter for Paris Saint-Germain, the Nerazzurri management have accelerated their efforts to sign one, if not two defenders at the end of the season. Stefan De Vrij is also under the spotlight, but irrespective of the Dutchman’s decision, Inter will make moves in the summer transfer market.
According to Tuttosport (via FCInterNews), Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard and Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini are two top priorities at the moment for the Nerazzurri.
? Confirmed: Milan Škriniar will 100% leave Inter in June on free transfer to join PSG… and NOT in January, it has collapsed.

Pavard was denied a transfer by the Bavarians at the end of the recently concluded winter market, in what was supposedly a strategic move by Bayern to deny Skriniar playing for PSG against them in the Champions League quarter-finals. However, Inter are expected to make a renewed effort come summer for the Frenchman whose contract in Munich expires in 2024.
On the other hand, Scalvini is the pricier option, with Atalanta demanding nothing less than €40M for the defensive prodigy. Lille defender Tiago Djalo and Roma’s Chris Smalling are the other two options shortlisted by the Inter management.
