The future of Joaquin Correa at Inter looks bleaker each passing day, especially considering the fact that the club is in the process of onboarding Paulo Dybala and is pursuing Gianluca Scamacca and Romelu Lukaku.
Reports from Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) indicate that the parties are close to a farewell after just one season, but a return to the Biancocelesti is unlikely. El Tucu’s loan deal expires this month, after which he is obliged to stay in accordance with his three-year contract that comes into permanent effect.
However, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is open to hearing offers for Correa. Clubs where he could play next season include Marseille or Sevilla, as both teams are reportedly interested in his services. Of the two, the former look the likely suitor, considering the presence of Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli and the fact that Les Olympiens will star in the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League.

Rather than a straightforward transfer, another loan move is in the books. The lack of game time in the Nerazzurri colors could push the forward to make different plans, and he looks likely to be one of the club’s first summer transfer window departures. He ended the 2021/22 season with 6 goals in 36 appearances.
