Inter Meet Agent, Start Cooking Up Deals with Venezia

Inter hosted agent Giuseppe Riso, who represents also Gaetano Pio Oristanio, and Venezia director Filippo Antonelli on Thursday. The youngster has been rumored to be part of the deal that would see the Nerazzurri acquire Josep Martinez from Genoa. However, other sides want him as well, Sky reports.

The Scudetto champions are keen on Tanner Tessmann, but the parties didn’t reach an agreement yet. The director spoke to the outlet after the summit.

“He was one of the topics, but not the only one. We’re talking, and we’ll see what happens. We’re interested in Oristanio, but it’s early. I didn’t see his agent. Eusebio Di Francesco? He’s the one we have in mind to replace Paolo Vanoli, but we have to understand some things. Valentin Carboni and Filip Stankovic? We can’t sign everybody from them, even though they are all good players. The coach comes first.”

Riso was quizzed about his client being offered to Genoa and Venezia by Inter.

“There are also other teams after him. We haven’t decided on his future yet. We also discussed Davide Frattesi. Some clubs reached out, but our chat wasn’t about the transfer market. We reasoned on other things. We’ll debate about Carboni once he’s back from the Copa America.”

According to the publication, Venezia asked for Oristanio and Stankovic on permanent signings as part of the Tessmann package, with Inter maintaining a buy-back clause. Instead, the attacker would go to Genoa on loan at first.
