Inter Midfield Mainstay on Manchester United Radar

Croatian star midfielder Marcelo Brozovic was recently reported to have taken a step closer in his contract renewal saga but there are no confirmed reports of a renewal deal yet. In the midst of this, Calciomercato has reported of Manchester United’s interest in luring the 28-year-old defensive midfielder.

The Red Devils are preparing to lose two central midfielders in Paul Pogba, who is being linked with a move to Real Madrid, and Donny Van De Beek, who has fallen down Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pecking order. In such a situation, the English giants are keen on reinforcing their center area with the prowess of Brozovic.

He has a market value of €40m, according to transfermarkt, and with his contract expiring at the end of the current season – in June 2022 – he may leave for much cheaper or virtually nothing, as a free agent in the next summer window.

The Nerazzurri midfielder has the approval of Simone Inzaghi but it remains to be seen where his future lies after seven years in the blue and black colours.
