Inter Midfield Starlet Set for Third Straight Loan Spell

Inter youngster Lucien Agoumé is expected to spend a third consecutive season on loan following his spells at Spezia and Brest over the last two seasons. There are indications that the 20-year-old will return back to Ligue 1, with Lorient and Troyes being the two most likely destinations, as per an exclusive report from FCInterNews.

With just over a week left to go in the summer transfer window, the starlet is yet to realize where he will end up in the new season. Talks between the Nerazzurri management, intermediary Oscar Damiani, and the player’s agent Djibril Niang are currently taking place.

Agoumé has been excluded from Simone Inzaghi’s season plans for Inter, with more playing minutes required on his end to fasten his development. The Frenchman rejected a loan move to newly-promoted Cremonese recently, expecting a transfer back to his homeland to more likely accelerate his growth.

He appeared 30 times for Brest last season, helping them gain an 11th-place finish in Ligue 1. There is interest from clubs across Europe for his signature, but he appears bound to return to France. Agoumé has only three first-team appearances for Inter since joining from FC Sochaux.
