Inter Near Correa Transfer, Finalize Plan B Option

A whole range of reports have been emerging from Italian media in the past few days and hours regarding Inter’s move for two strikers – Lazio’s Joaquin Correa and Torino’s Andrea Belotti – both of whom have less than a week to secure their transfers, if anything does materialize.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Correa is just a day or two away from completing his move to Inter for an operation that costs Є31m in total, including bonuses and add-ons.

He will become the Nerazzurri’s second attacking signing of the summer after having lured Edin Dzeko from Roma. Correa’s first preference is Inter as Lazio are also said to have been approached by Everton.

However, contradicting reports have emerged, with EURO 2020 winner Andrea Belotti also poised for a move away from Turin, after contract renewal talks have not taken shape. According to Italian broadcaster SportMediaSet, Belotti would come in a bit cheaper for a deal in the range of Є22m from La Granata.

It can be inferred that a move for Belotti can happen, if talks with the Biancocelesti for Correa breakdown. A plan B of sorts for the Nerazzurri.
