La Viola is concerned with the delay since it opens the door to other sides interfering. They have an agreement in principle with the Grifone on a €25M package. The deal is also holding up Nico Gonzalez, who wants to move to Juventus.
On the other hand, Inter have stayed in touch with Gudmundsson m. The player himself wants to wait before deciding his future to explore whether he could go to a top team.

They shouldn’t be counted out until he puts pen to paper for another team as their pull factor is very strong and they have been at it for months. The longer it takes, the fewer chances Fiorentina have. The search for a substitute is only partially at fault.
