Inter president Steven Zhang rejoiced for eliminating Milan and quashed the doubts about the future of coach Simone Inzaghi in his post-game remarks to Sportitalia.
“Reaching the Champions League final is incredible and doesn’t happen every season. Everything will be possible throughout the 90 minutes in Istanbul. It’s my seventh year here. Zhang was highly complementary of Inzaghi.

There’s no reason to change now. We haven’t even discussed such topic, and it’s not on our minds. We are ready to start the third season with him. He’ll be our manager long-term.”
Zhang expounded on the significance of their achievement.
