Lautaro Martinez put on a magical display as Inter crushed Milan 2-0 in a Champions League Semifinal rivalry matchup. It was a complete game for the visitors, who shut down the Rossoneri offense with ease and could have realistically scored two or three more goals.
Andre Onana – 7
Milan put just two shots on target, and Onana confidently saved both of them.
Matteo Darmian – 6.5
On the right side of the defense, Darmian was by far Inter’s weakest link, and, along with Denzel Dumfries, he struggled to defend against Alexis Saelemaekers. However, he made no massive mistakes, and the backline ultimately kept the clean sheet.
Francesco Acerbi – 8
Against Olivier Giroud, the defender had a very successful showing. He cut out many of the passes to the striker and limited his space in and around the box to shoot.
Alessandro Bastoni – 7
The centre-back had a few defensive miscues, but his distribution was crucial to building Inter’s attacks from the back. Junior Messias got the better of Bastoni more than once, but the positives far outweighed the negatives.
Federico Dimarco – 6.5
Early on, Dimarco picked up the game-clinching assist, but he had a fairly quiet match otherwise.
Denzel Dumfries – 6
As mentioned previously, Dumfries struggled against Saelemaekers and certainly did not have the best defensive game of his career.
Hakan Calhanoglu – 8
The midfielder picked up an assist with pinpoint service from the corner to Edin Dzeko, and he nearly scored one of the goals of the year with a fabulous long-range strike that rebounded off the post.
Nicolo Barella – 7.5
Despite being the quietest of the three midfielders, Barella still factored heavily into Inter’s relentless attack. He distributed the ball well and helped his side win the midfield battle with his movement and work rate.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 8
In the first half, Mkhitaryan scored a great goal, losing his marker in the box and netting an easy strike. However, the midfielder had one of his best overall matches of the season, as he won several tackles, distributed the ball well and made plays all over the pitch.
Lautaro Martinez – 8.5
While the Argentine did not register a goal or an assist, his creativity was simply sublime. Neither Simon Kjaer nor Fikayo Tomori were able to neutralize the forward, who set up three shots for his side.
Edin Dzeko – 9
Simply put, Dzeko took over the match and led the way for the Nerazzurri. He picked up the opening goal with a wonderful volley and was a constant threat for his side, holding up the ball well and contributing to every phase of the game.
Unbelievable first half from Inter. Any time they attacked, they created a great opportunity. Also dominating the physical battles in the midfield.
Milan need a massive reset at halftime, that was so poor

Marcelo Brozovic – 6
With the game neatly wrapped up, Brozovic took the pitch with 30 minutes remaining and helped his side see out the result.
