Inter wingback Robin Gosens is all but set to leave the club come January following an unsuccessful spell at the Nerazzurri. However, the ex-Scudetto champions do not want to wait much longer to sign a replacement, as they eye a talent from France to arrive at the Stadio Meazza in place of the German.
According to latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FCInterNews), Inter are ready to replace Gosens with 21-year-old Stade Rennais wingback Adrien Truffert. The Belgium-born Rennes youth product is reportedly high on Inter’s list to arrive in the winter transfer window on a short loan deal after which his future will be evaluated based on performances.

Truffert recently made his Les Bleus debut in a UEFA Nations League clash against Denmark, having impressed coach Didier Deschamps with his versatility to operate in the wingback position.

He would cost at least €15M in a permanent deal, with his contract at the French club expiring only in the summer of 2025. Truffert has 5 assists in 21 appearances this season for the northern French side.
