Inter Prepare Dybala Arrival but Lautaro Future Comes First

As news of Paulo Dybala’s departure from Juventus at the end of the season became concrete, Inter were one of the first clubs to be alerted of the Argentine’s potential free transfer in the summer. The Italian champions reportedly want a deal to be fulfilled at the earliest, but before that, they will need to relieve some players in their offensive ranks.

One of the main players touted to leave the Nerazzurri is Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine striker has witnessed ups and downs in his Inter career so far, and it is understood that the club is ready to part ways with him, given the right offer.

Of all the interested clubs, Arsenal have emerged as frontrunners for the Copa America winner, as the Gunners seem desperate to add a forward in their ranks this summer (via Calciomercato). The North London giants have reportedly made the first call to enquire about the Racing Club youth product’s availability in the summer.

They are joined by Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the Argentine’s signature.

However, Inter expect nothing short of €70m to be offered for his services.

Martinez signed a long-term deal with Inter only recently, tying himself to the club until 2026, due to which Inter are in a position to demand a heavy transfer fee. Despite that, the Italian giants want to finalize his future at the earliest so that they have enough time to complete a deal for Dybala.

Il Toro moved from the Argentine Primera Division in 2018 and now possesses more than 170 caps to his Nerazzurri shirt, scoring 65 goals in the process.
