Inter Prioritize Monchengladbach Striker Over Correa

Inter have reportedly placed Borussia Monchengladbach ace Marcus Thuram as their top transfer target ahead of Lazio’s Joaquin Correa, who is being heavily linked with a move to Everton.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport correspondent Alfredo Pedulia, Inter have already begun their chase for Thuram, with an initial offer of €25m plus bonuses being submitted by the Nerazzurri. Thuram has a market value of €35m, according to transfermarkt but the deal could close at around the €30m mark.

The 24-year-old striker has long been linked to a move away from the club, with his contract expiring in June 2023. The son of ex-Juventus and Parma defender Lilian Thuram expectedly wants to experience Champions League football next season.

The Nerazzurri want to finalize the deal for a new striker before the summer transfer window comes to a close at the end of August.
