Inter are looking to add one extra midfielder on deadline day, and the candidate with the most steam is currently Davy Klaassen. The Nerazzurri are particularly enticed by his versatility and physicality. He’s keen on an experience in Serie A after playing at Everton, Werder Bremer, and Ajax, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
La Beneamata has been offered a few players by agents and intermediaries. It doesn’t look like the deal with Sassuolo involving Maxime Lopez and Kristjan Asllani will proceed. The idea came more from the Neroverdi, which don’t want to keep an unhappy player, than from them.
Signing Klaassen appears easier than Tanguy Ndombélé, who’s also on the Inter shortlist. The Nerazzurri don’t plan to spend much for their final signing. They are seeking somebody on loan, at most with an option to buy. They’ll cover only the wages.
If Giuseppe Marotta and co. can’t find a quality option, they’ll keep ahold of Stefano Sensi and Lucian Agoumé. The youngster has struggled to attract suitors after consecutive loan spells at Troyes and Stade Brestois

He would come in handy for his experience and flexibility, but he doesn’t bring something different to the table relative to their current contributors. It’ll be challenging to find a proper reinforcement at those conditions.
