Inter Set to Offload Correa Amid Premier League and La Liga Interest

Argentina striker Joaquin Correa has experienced a dip in form this season and could soon see his way out of Inter, perhaps this coming summer window. The lack of game time and a string of constant injuries have hampered El Tucu’s development at the Nerazzurri under Simone Inzaghi.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, two Premier League clubs and one La Liga outfit are pondering a summer move for Correa. Aston Villa and West Ham United are reportedly interested in the striker, with the latter in pole position to put forth a deal on the table. In addition, it is Sevilla who are seeking to lure the former Lazio marksman to Spain.

Correa’s Inter career has not exactly kicked off to the best of starts, after an initial loan stint at the Meazza. Nevertheless, the Nerazzurri management eventually displayed confidence in him to sign him permanently, although due to an obligation to buy following the loan deal.

The Argentine has just 9 goals in 62 appearances for Inter since joining from Lazio two seasons ago.
