Inter Set to Replace Saudi-Bound Brozovic with Frattesi

With Marcelo Brozovic strongly touted with a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, Inter have strongly identified the Croat’s successor in the middle of the pitch. Davide Frattesi is the player in question, having been linked to Inter, among a host of other top dogs including Roma and Milan.

As per Sportitalia (via FCInterNews), the young midfielder seems to have chosen as his next club as Inter, who have been leading the race for quite a while now. This week will prove to be instrumental in how the deal materializes between Sassuolo and Inter for Frattesi’s services.

However, much of it will depend on how talks for Brozovic shape, as he nears the exit door at the Meazza. The €23M to be collected from the sale of the Croatian is expected to be used directly in the transfer of Frattesi.

Inter youngster Samuele Mullatieri is expected to be included in the deal, thus lowering the €35-40M price tag set upon Frattesi by Giovanni Carnevali.
