Inter Set to Sign Spanish Prodigy on Loan

Inter have taken a proactive approach in the summer transfer window and seem unwilling to put the brakes on their recruitment spree. According to Calciomeracto, the reigning Scudetto holders are on the cusp of capturing Real Betis teenage sensation Alex Perez.
After signing the likes of Josep Martinez, Piotr Zielinski, Mehdi Taremi, and Luka Topalovic, Inter could soon announce another deal. Betis youngster Perez is one step away from joining the Giuseppe Meazza outfit on loan with an option to buy.
Inter and Betis have found an agreement. The Andalusian side will reportedly renew Perez’s expiring deal before sending him to Serie A on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old’s current deal runs out in 2025. The Spaniards will tie him down to a new long-term contract before letting him link up with Simone Inzaghi’s team.
Perez is among the most appreciated young talents in Spain. Despite his tender age, he’s already one of Europe’s most exciting defensive prospects. Yet to make his senior debut for Betis, Perez is ready to depart his homeland and embark on a new chapter at Inter. The Italians could sign him in a bargain deal.
Inter would reportedly have to allocate a meager €500,000 plus bonuses to sign Perez at the end of next season if he leaves up to expectation. Given today’s market prices and the teenager’s potential, this could prove another masterstroke from the club president, Beppe Marotta.
Meanwhile, Inter have put three first-team stars up for sale as they aim to make room for newcomers.
