With Ivan Perisic set to leave Inter, the club is already on the hunt for a direct replacement. The Nerazzurri bought Robin Gosens from Atalanta last season, but the wingback role is still up for grabs, and two players are in contention to arrive at the Giuseppe Meazza in the summer.
According to Calciomercato, Inter have shortlisted Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League hero Filip Kostic.
The latter sees his contract expire in the summer of 2023, and despite possessing a transfermarkt value of €20m, anything around the €10m would lure Frankfurt’s attention.
On the other hand, 22-year-old Cambiaso has emerged as one of the best up and coming players in the league, having registered 5 goal contributions in 27 appearances.
Vialle della Liberazione is keen on seeing another left-sided player arrive in the club’s ranks in the event of Perisic’s departure. The Croatian wingback remains Inter’s priority but him and the club have been in a contractual limbo throughout the current season.
