Inter to Reject Massive Tottenham Proposal for Martinez

Antonio Conte reportedly wants a reunion with Inter striker Lautaro Martinez and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is prepared to shell out a whopping offer for the Argentine. Italian news outlet Sportitalia (via FCInter1908) claims that a transfer proposal of €90M is headed towards the Nerazzurri, which the Italians are disinterested in going forward with.

The 24-year-old and his entourage have constantly stated their intention of staying put at the Giuseppe Meazza, especially after he renewed his contract last year. As per transfer market expert Alfredo Pedullà, Martinez and Inter will unilaterally reject the Tottenham offer, and any other coming their way, irrespective of the amount to be thrown at them.

Conte enjoyed a strong relationship with Il Toro during his two-season spell in the Nerazzurri colors, and now sees him as the perfect fit to replace Harry Kane, if the Englishman does move away in the summer. He has been linked to Bayern Munich amid the Robert Lewandowksi’s transfer saga. But the two could also easily feature together. According to CIES Football Observatory, Martinez is the most valued player in Serie A – sitting 11th in the list of the latest highest estimated transfer values, ahead of Nicolò Barella and Dusan Vlahovic.
