Iconic Inter treble-winning hero Diego Milito believes his former employers must do everything in their power to ‘seize’ Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

Inter Treble Hero Milito Exalts ‘Almost Perfect’ EuroDerby Victory

Treble hero Diego Milito led the Nerazzurri to their last appearance in the UEFA Champions League final, back in 2010, when they eventually lifted the trophy. The ex-striker believes Inter can do it again, as they take a 2-0 lead into the second leg thanks to goals from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Speaking to the microphones of Amazon Prime Video (via FCInter1908), Milito gave his opinion of the victory which puts one Inter foot into the final.

“Inter showed Milan that they are stronger, have a more complete squad and it showed with the substitutions. Inter played an almost perfect match, and were much stronger – conceding only two goals.

Milito then praised Mkhitaryan for scoring the goal that could well be the difference between the two sides ahead of the showdown in Istanbul

“Mkhitaryan is a player on the run, with quality, he scored the goal that gave Inter peace.”

Inter have now beaten bitter rivals Milan in three straight games without conceding following a first-ever H2H win in Europe.
