Inter vs Real Madrid – Stadio Giuseppe Meazza Sold Out

Inter’s Champions League group opener against Real Madrid at the Giuseppe Meazza has been sold out, according to reports from Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

The historic stadium will function at 50% capacity, which means over 37,000 tickets have been sold for a grand collection of approximately €3m. This can be attributed to the first Champions League matchday of the new season that Inter enter as Italian champions and also the presence of Real Madrid as visitors.

Every seat which have been put on sale at the stadium have been sold.

The continental competition at the Giuseppe Meazza will witness the presence of fans for the first time in over a year and excitement is at an all-time high.

Restrictions at sporting events are yet to be fully lifted and fans might have to make peace with the reduced capacity for at least the first half of the current season.

For now, we can expect a first-class encounter at the vintage stadium in the presence of spectators on Wednesday evening.
