Inter Willing to Offer Brozovic €6m for Contract Renewal

Inter are reportedly willing to offer midfielder Marcelo Brozovic a contract of €6m.

According to Corriere Dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com)the club’s CEO for sport Giuseppe Marotta are willing to meet the 29-year-old’s demands and pay him a salary of €6m-a-season. The Nerazzurri are hoping to announce his renewal before Christmas.

Brozovic’s current contract with Inter runs out in 2022 and the club would certainly want to see him pen a new deal with them. The Croat has been an important player for the Serie A outfit since joining them from Dinamo Zagreb. So far, Brozovic has amassed 26 goals and 35 assists in 264 appearances across all competitions.

The midfielder has continued to be a regular under Simone Inzaghi, scoring in Inter’s champions league fixture against Sheriff while providing a couple of assists.

Brozovic is a quality midfielder and him signing a new contract would be a massive boost for the Nerazzurri. The 29-year-old will most likely start in this weekend’s fixture against Cagliari and will be keen on helping them bag all three points.
