Inter Wing-Back Dumfries Oozes Confidence Ahead of Derby di Milano

As Inter prepare to take on eternal rivals Milan in the Derby della Madonnina at the weekend, Nerazzurri wing-back Denzel Dumfries has come forward with a daring message to his Rossoneri counterparts.

The anticipation for the derby has been heightened with Dumfries’ declaration, wherein he mentions that nobody from the Rossoneri squad scares him.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport in an exclusive interview, Dumfries said:  “Who scares me at Milan? Nobody. But Zlatan is great, I don’t need to add anything, but I never like to talk too much about rivals: I repeat, we are the focus.” (via MilanNews)

Milan sit level on 49 points with Napoli, and have a chance to reduce their gap with league leaders Inter to just one point with a victory at San Siro. Inter, however, are on a high-flying streak of nine consecutive victories and will look to make it ten straight wins across all competitions.

Dumfries has integrated exceptionally well under Simone Inzaghi, having arrived at Giuseppe Meazza to replace Morocco wing-back Achraf Hakimi. He has 3 goals and 5 assists in 26 appearances for the Nerazzurri so far.
