Inter Working on Three Possible Bosman Acquisitions

Inter will probably stand pat in January unless Marko Arnautovic and Juan Cuadrado’s injuries linger, but they’ll lay the groundwork for three potential free additions at the end of the season: Tiago Djaló, Piotr Zielinski, and Mehdi Taremi, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

The defender has been on their radar for a couple of years, but Lille set a robust price tag. He tore his ACL in March and has yet to return. He has the same agent as Marcus Thuram. Juventus and Milan are poking around too. However, the Nerazzurri believe to be in the lead over the other Italian suitors. Instead, they are warier about Barcelona potentially interfering with their pursuit.

Djaló and Taremi will most likely leave their teams gratis, while Zielinski has yet to decide to do so, and the Bianconeri and Inter are among the sides waiting for his call. La Beneamata wouldn’t have trouble offering him as much as he makes today, €3.5M per year. The Pole star reportedly likes how Simone Inzaghi utilizes midfielders.

The Iranian marksman has recently been tipped to transfer in January by his national team’s assistant coach. That’s not very likely, though. He’ll miss a month during the winter due to the AFC Asian Cup. Inter are more interested for next summer. Whether they’ll pursue him or not will depend on how Arnautovic, who has similar traits, and Alexis Sanches fare this season.
