Intermediary Talks Koopmeiners, Immobile, and Napoli

Vincenzo Morabito, who’s part of the entourage of Teun Koopmeiners, commented on the coveted midfielder and a few other transfer-market related topics in an interview with TVPlay.

“He will stay at Atalanta, even though, in my opinion, he’s one of the players Cristiano Giuntoli dreams of luring. He was on the verge of acquiring him before he moved to Bergamo, but he didn’t have the resources to seal the deal. His agent told me that he’ll extend his contract.”

The operator said his piece about Kim Min-Jae’s replacement.

“Max Kilman is very pricey. It’s hard to believe Aurelio De Laurentiis will spend more than €20M for a defender, while he costs double as much.”

On top of dishing on Koopmeiners, Morabito commented on another in-demand Atalanta star, Rasmus Hojlund.

“I think he could leave Atalanta but stay in Italy. Internal transfers work differently. Instead, he could move only to the Premier League if he went abroad. However, they don’t consider him ready. La Dea wants €60M but paid €17M last year. Perhaps they’ll sell him for €40M. For instance, he could join Juventus if Dusan Vlahovic departed.”

The intermediary had a surprising take on Ciro Immobile.

“It’s a very delicate matter because he’s a symbol. However, his relationship with Maurizio Sarri and his age could lead to a divorce. I don’t think the coach would mind it at all.”
