Beppe Marotta was one of the guests of honor at Adriano Galliani’s autobiography presentation at the Manzoni Theater in Milan. The Inter chief took the chance to thank the ex-Milan and current Monza patron for his support, after he recently backed the Nerazzurri to win the UEFA Champions League in Istanbul in a fortnight’s time.
Speaking at the function (via Calciomercato), Marotta took the chance to praise Galliani, calling him the best manager in calcio.
“Adriano represents by far the best manager in Italian football. I think he is an example to follow for the values he represents. Did he say he will support Inter in Istanbul? We are bound by a relationship of esteem. The fact that he declares fills me with pride and pleasure. I’ve rooted for him on many occasions, I’m glad that this time he’s rooting for me.”

Inter are downright underdogs against Pep Guardiola’s men, given the Premier League champions’ form at the moment despite their 1-0 defeat to Brentford in the final game of the Premier League campaign.
They face Manchester United in the FA Cup final first, before meeting Inter on June 10, whereas the Nerazzurri play Torino in their closing league game of the season.
