Italiano Addresses Interest in Arthur, Jovic and Amrabat

Vincenzo Italiano dished on the upcoming season and the transfer market and hailed their new additions in an interview from the brand-new Viola Park with Sky.

“The last campaign gave us a lot in terms of knowledge and experience. We can all improve and grow. We have to intervene in some roles, but we have already added quality with Abdelhamid Sabiri and Fabiano Parisi. They came here in great form. The physical tests have gone well for everybody, including Luka Jovic. He knows the group better now. We are confident he’ll round into shape quickly. He was penalized by the lack of playing time in previous years.”

Italiano wasn’t certain to stay as Napoli pursued him.

“I was looking forward to talking with the president. There was a ton of bitterness because of the two lost finals. I was afraid they had ruined our journey. But everybody stated the eagerness and desire to continue together and better the squad.”

Italiano confirmed the rumors about Arthur.

“I don’t deny that we’re interested. We are all on the same page about him. I’ve already said too much. It often happens to deal with uncertain situations in the transfer market. I’ll see in which mental state Sofyan Amrabat is when he’ll return. We all esteem him and he’s aware of what he’ll face. These dynamics are unexpected.”
