Italy Issue Squad List for Final Euro 2024 Qualifiers

Luciano Spalletti has named his 29-man list for the pivotal Euro 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia and Ukraine. Italy need four points to punch their ticket mathematically without needing help and or going through the playoffs.

The most notable exclusion is Ciro Immobile despite his return to form in recent matches. The boss preferred Gianluca Scamacca, Moise Kean, and Giacomo Raspadori over the Lazio icon.

The Italy squad features both Andrea Colpani and Jorginho, who were reportedly competing with each other. On top of the Monza star, Andrea Cambiaso is the other player who could make his debut with the senior Azzurri team.

Davide Calabria is back after being extensively absent in a somewhat controversial fashion. Giovanni Di Lorenzo is suspended for the first match. Alessandro Buongiorno and Rafael Toloi are also back after physical problems in precedent fixtures.

Lorenzo Pellegrini remains sidelined, with Giacomo Bonaventura and Colpani filling in for as far as attacking midfielders are concerned. Nicolรฒ Zaniolo, Domenico Berardi, and Stephan El Shaarawy have been selected over Riccardo Orsolini. Mattia Zaccagni is also out and is currently doubtful for the Derby.

Giorgio Scalvini, whoโ€™s banged up, and Destiny Udogie have been omitted from the Italy squad, Corriere della Sera points out. Italy will have its first game on November 17th at the Stadio Olimpico and the second one three days later in Leverkusen.
