Jadon Sancho Wants Juventus Move But There’s a Catch

Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho is reportedly open to joining Juventus in a swap deal involving Bianconeri stalwart Federico Chiesa. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the versatile forward would be enthusiastic about continuing his career in Serie A if the clubs can arrange an exchange deal.

It would be a win-win situation for all parties involved. Juventus want to offload Chiesa after new manager Thiago Motta deemed him surplus to requirements. The Italian winger also hopes to leave Turin to revive his career following two underwhelming seasons under ex-boss Massimiliano Allegri

On top of that, Juventus are keen on Sancho. The 24-year-old cannot wait to leave Old Trafford, having become a scapegoat at Manchester United after his mega-money move from Borussia Dortmund in 2021. United allowed their troubled winger to return to Signal Iduna Park last January to regain some confidence.

Sancho showed glimpses of his talent during a short-term loan at Dortmund, amassing two goals and three assists in 14 Bundesliga matches. But the Red Devils are reluctant to give the Englishman another chance. That’s where Juventus come into play.

Unlike Manchester United, they’re willing to offer Sancho the benefit of the doubt and Chiesa in return. It’s only questionable whether the Premier League heavyweights want the former Fiorentina ace. Years of stagnation have taken their toll as he’s no longer the wanted property.

However, the Juventus castaway could still find refuge in Serie A. Despite Roma’s decision to pull out of negotiations for the 26-year-old, Napoli are contemplating a move for Chiesa.
