A new suitor from the Premier League is set to tussle interested clubs for the transfer of Victor Osimhen, as Napoli prepare for life after the departure of the highly-rated marksman. Partenopei chief Aurelio De Laurentiis recently revealed the confidence he possesses of seeing Osimhen stay put in Naples, but the emergence of yet another suitor is set to spice things up.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TuttoNapoli), Jürgen Klopp wants a proven striker to lead the frontline alongside Darwin Nunez, following the departure of Roberto Firmino. The Reds management is reportedly eyeing an aggressive poacher who prefers to play vertically, and Osimhen perfectly fits the bill.

First contacts have already been established by Liverpool with the player’s agent Roberto Calenda, who is open to talks. In contrast, De Laurentiis wishes to extend Osimhen’s stay in the south of Italy, despite all the burgeoning interest.
