Juve Enter Transfer Race for Manchester United Target Amrabat

Having confirmed the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, Manchester United are now expected to make a move for Sofyan Amrabat. However, their inactivity in the saga for the Moroccan’s services means the arrival of a new suitor in Juventus, which are reportedly interested to boost their own midfield line.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via ViolaNews), just days after missing out on ex-Milan and Barcelona central midfielder Franck Kessié, who is set to transfer to Al-Ahli, Juventus have shifted their attention to Amrabat. The Bianconeri wish to take advantage of the Red Devils’ sluggish stance and overtake them in the transfer race.

From Max Allegri to Cristiano Giuntoli, everyone in the backroom is reportedly convinced of Amrabat’s ability to lead the line. Any offer around the €30M price tag will persuade Rocco Commisso to release Amrabat.

Fiorentina’s recent acquisition of Arthur from Juventus on loan has opened up a channel for positive dialogue between the two clubs, taking advantage of which the Bianconeri could beat the English giants.

Our Take on Amrabat and Juventus

The emergence of Juventus for Amrabat is not expected to startle Manchester United. The ball is still in the English side’s court, as they have the financial strength to break the bank and sign Amrabat overnight with one offer. Moreover, the prospect of starring in the Premier League and the Champions League next season under former coach Erik Ten Hag will be hard to turn down for the player.
