Juventus Add Norwegian Talent to Shortlist for the Wings

Juventus could go young with one of their signings upfront and have set sights on Antonio Nusa, who has spent the last three seasons at Club Brugge after breaking out with Stabaek in his home country, Norway.

According to TuttoSport, the Bianconeri wouldn’t mind adding a versatile attacker who can also play centrally, deputizing Dusan Vlahovic. The talent is a prolific dribbler. He has recorded 7 goals and 5 assists in 84 matches with his current team.

Nusa wouldn’t be cheap but would be a lot less expensive than the other rumored Juventus targets, Karim Adeyemi, Galeno, and Nico Gonzalez. His price tag is around €20M. On the other hand, he’s coveted in the Premier League.

Brentford came close to signing him in January but changed their minds due to doubts about his fitness and a knee injury. The 19-year-old has been healthy to start the season. He has seven caps and one goal with his national team.

Our Take on Juventus and Nusa

While they need some depth, it’s a little odd that they are eyeing players fairly similar to Kenan Yildiz or that will impact his playing time. Their plan seems to be to splurge on one winger and then add another on loan late, but making two medium-sized investments would be a better strategy. How much they’ll have to spend hinges on whether they’ll really acquire Teun Koopmeiners and Jean-Clair Todibo and at what cost.
