Juventus Add to Their Wish List for Flank Positions

Juventus aren’t satisfied with the performances of their wingbacks, other than Andrea Cambiaso, and are preparing a summer overhaul. They have a few more names on their radar on top of Archie Brown and Samuele Birindelli, who were recently linked to them, TuttoSport informed.

Timothy Weah has been unconvincing and could be sold for the right offer. Filip Kostic is drawing interest in Saudi Arabia. Some Premier League sides are keen on Samuel Iling-Junior, whose contract expires in 2025. The extension talks haven’t progressed much so far.

Since Cambiaso can star on eight flank, Juventus are keeping tabs on a host of options, including two veterans they tracked in the past, Lucas Vazquez and Noussair Mazraoui. The former has yet to re-up with Real Madrid even though his deal runs out on June 30th. The Moroccan international hasn’t had a prominent role during his time at Bayern Munich.

In addition, the Bianconeri are intrigued by Patrick Dorgu. He has more than held his own in his maiden Serie A season despite being 19. The Lecce prodigy will be in high demand in the summer, though.

Our Take on the Juventus Wings

Something has to be done, but there’s no need to be too hasty. They should exploit the final Serie A matches, which won’t be all that meaningful, to give Weah and Iling-Junior some run and better assess what they have in them. The call about the latter will be out of their hands if he doesn’t renew.
