Juventus, Allegri Praises ‘Excellent’ Brazilian Talent

Although Juventus did not have the brightest of transfer windows in the summer with the departure of star striker Cristiano Ronaldo, they did manage to bring in a host of youthful talent such as Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo, Mohamed Ihattaren from PSV Eindhoven and Kaio Jorge from Santos.

Locatelli has gotten off to a decent start to his new life in Turin, while the same cannot be said of Ihattaren, who was immediately loaned to Sampdoria for his development.

19-year-old Kaio Jorge on the other hand is yet to full be integrated into Massimiliano Allegri’s outfit with just two appearances to his name so far. However, the Italian manager is of no doubts regarding the skills and talent of the Brazilian centre-forward.

Speaking to DAZN (via TUTTOmercatoweb) after his side’s 1-1 draw away at Inter, Allegri specifically spoke about Jorge.

“He is awake, he knows how to play football. He understands where to unmark, where to go. He entered well, has excellent technique and I think he can find space. He has personality, then he is young and conscious,” commented Allegri.

A product of Santos’ youth academy, Jorge was touted to move to either Milan or Juventus and finally chose the Bianconeri for developing his career further.
