Juventus and Atalanta Track Serie B Defensive Prospect

As Juventus still reel from their poor start to the domestic season, the club are still looking to better and reinforce their squad, especially from the back. Massimiliano Allegri’s outfit have not begun their Serie A campaign on the best of notes, prompting themselves to look towards prospective transfer targets who can better the team.

The unlikeliest of targets has emerged for the Bianconeri in Serie B star Federico Gatti, who plays for Frosinone.

According to journalist SportItalia Gianluigi Longari (via TuttoJuve), the defensive aspect remains a priority to strengthen, given the fact that Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci have entered their latter years.

Juventus are interested in his young profile, and also given his affordable transfermarkt value of €175,000. He has a contract valid until June 2025 with the Serie B club.

According to the reports, Atalanta are also interested in his services as they keep close tabs alongside Juventus.

He has been scouted for the centre-back position by both clubs and is an interesting defensive prospect.
