Juventus and Inter Receive Positive Updates on the Injury Front

Juventus and Inter will not be without their injured players for a long time. Federico Bernardeschi did not sustain a significant shoulder issue, and Moise Kean escaped without a thigh strain. As for the Nerazzurri, Joaquin Correa returned to full practice today.

There was some worry the Italian winger would be on the shelf for a while after his shoulder popped out of its socket Sunday. Juventus announced today that the ensuing tests confirmed a sprain but ruled ligament or other forms of damage to the joint. Instead, Kean sat out the clash with Inter due to muscle fatigue. His tests came back clean as well.

The two will be evaluated in training in the next couple of days. It remains likely that they will skip Wednesday’s match with Sassuolo, Sky Sport reports. Juan Cuadrado inadvertently leaked on Instagram that the duo, and Adrien Rabiot, who just cleared the COVID protocol, followed a different program from the rest of the team Monday.

Correa was forced to watch the bout with Juventus from the stands too. He was not 100 percent due to a lingering thigh issue he picked up during the second break. The soreness has subsided and he was able to practice with no limitations Tuesday. The Argentinan attacker told a fan at the training center that he would be good to go for the next fixture, Sky informed. Instead, Arturo Vidal was not present as he is still under the weather. He was a late scratch against his former team.
