Juventus and PSG Will Pounce if Donnarumma Rejects Milan Extension

Agent Mino Raiola spent a couple of days in Turin primarily to discuss the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma with the Juventus management. The Bianconeri are ready to make an offer should he leave Milan for free at the end of his contract, which expires in 77 days, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The Rossoneri are optimistic that will not be the case, but their last offer has been left unanswered and is significantly lower than the request. The goalkeeper is eager to play in the Champions League and is set to wait it out before putting pen-to-paper with any club. His representative asked for a €12M salary to the Old Lady, indicating that PSG are willing to meet his demands.

Juventus officially denied the meeting, but Raiola stayed at the J-Hotel near their training center. Matthijs De Ligt, Federico Bernardeschi and Moise Kean are also part of his staple. The Dutch defender is considered untouchable ahead of the summer window, while the winger has been put on the market. The Turin-based club is competing with PSG also to bring back the Italian starlet.

Donnarumma was proposed an €8M-per-year contract by Milan, which would make him the second highest-paid player in Serie A on a par with De Ligt, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo. If he did join, the Bianconeri believe that it would not be too hard to find a new team for Wojciech Szczesny, whom they trust and would sell only for this unprecedented opportunity. The Polish goalkeeper was acquired from Roma for €15M in 2017, so it would be easy to make a profit on his departure.
