Juventus and Spurs Handed Deadline in Milenkovic Saga

Tutto in 4 giorni” (“Everything in four days”) headlines Corriere Fiorentino for the Nikola Milenkovic transfer saga. Inter, Juventus and Tottenham have all been linked to the Serbian powerhouse, but no advances have been made from any suitors yet. Also, there has been no response from the defender’s end.

However, that is bound to change as the weekend approaches, as per latest reports.

According to Corriere dello Sport, there are chances that Milenkovic will stay put in Florence ahead of the new season. With his contract expiring in the summer of 2023, the Viola management have a three-year contract ready for him, amounting to €3M net per season.

Milenkovic’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has accelerated talks with both Fiorentina and the clubs interested. Juventus and Tottenham are two clubs in pole position for the Serb’s signature, with Atletico Madrid lurking in the background.

No offers have been made yet by the aforementioned teams, but as it stands, the deadline to come to an agreement is set for 7 August, Friday. Any interested team will have to shell out €15-20M in order to lure the highly-rated stopper.
