Juventus Considering Lille Midfielder Sponsored by Ronaldo’s Agent

Juventus are focusing on Manuel Locatelli, as they have done for the entire summer. However, if the negotiation continued to stall, other objectives for the midfield could gain momentum. According to L’Equipe, Jorge Mendes has proposed Renato Sanches to them.

After failing to blossom at Bayern Munich, the Portuguese international has found a home at Lille. He contributed to last season’s title with his excellent performances. He has registered 5 goals and 5 assists in 59 matches during his time with the French club.

Sanches is now looking to move on and eyes a return to a top European club, the publication adds. He has two years left on his contract with Lille. They have set a €35M price tag, but it is negotiable. Juventus have a tight relationship with his agent, who also represents Cristiano Ronaldo. They have filed the name away if they failed to come to terms with Sassuolo. The Old Lady planned to add a physical midfielder at the beginning of the window, and the 23-year-old fits the bill.

The Bianconeri could bring in a couple of players in the role, but only if Aaron Ramsey left. He has received limited interest thus far, although some situations could develop in the final days of the window. They will not have Arthur for some time as he underwent lower leg surgery due to a lingering ossification. Juventus have not met with Sassuolo in recent days, but they remain confident as Locatelli wants to join them. He turned down an offer from Liverpool, Sportmediaset relays.
