Juventus Contemplating Some Moves on the Left Wing Too

Juventus have been attached to a few names to bolster their right flank, but some changes could take place on the opposite one as well. They technically have three options already: Filip Kostic, Samuel Iling-Junior, and Andrea Cambiaso, who will be back from Bologna and assessed by Massimiliano Allegri during the pre-season.

According to Goal’s Romeo Agresti, the Bianconeri have scheduled a meeting with Empoli to discuss Fabiano Parisi. The starlet will likely transfer after two solid seasons in Serie A. Conversely, the counterpart is keen on Filippo Ranocchia, who didn’t play much at Monza the recent campaign.

Per TuttoSport, there have been several contacts already to onboard the Azzurri fullback, who has a €15M valuation. He would be top of the list should Juventus make an addition to the role. He was linked to Lazio in previous windows. However, the Biancocelesti could keep Luca Pellegrini, although they wish to renegotiate the terms of his transfer.

Kostic was reportedly unhappy with Massimiliano Allegri’s confirmation and the team not qualifying for the Champions League. Moreover, Iling-Junior has some suitors in the Premier League. The team might let him go if they received an offer north of €25M, Sportitalia relays.

Our Take on the Juventus Left Wing

The chatter concerning Parisi has been increasingly louder, so there could be something there. The English talent is raw but has the potential to be a difference-maker, and they should hold on to him. Cambiaso is also intriguing and versatile. He’ll be a useful backup at worst. Kostic is 30, so the right strategy could be to loan out one youngster until they are ready to move on from him.
