Juventus Could Conduct Some Business with Fenerbahce

Juventus might not be done making trades this summer, as they have set sights on Ferdi Kadioglu, while Fenerbahce could be interested in a few of their outcasts. The fullback stood out during Euro 2024. His versatility would be greatly appreciated by Thiago Motta, TuttoSport informs.

The 24-year-old can play on either flank and in the midfield in a pinch. He moved to Turkey from NEC Nijmegen at a young age. He has amassed nearly 200 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 22 assists, and featured 20 times with his national team.

Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli inquired about Kadioglu while he was at Napoli but ultimately signed Mathias Olivera in the same role. The Bianconeri would face competition from Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, and Manchester United if they targeted him, Marca reports (via Tuttomercatoweb). He has the same agent as Teun Koopmeiners.

On the other hand, it might be possible to arrange a swap. Fenerbahce have kicked the tires on Weston McKennie, Filip Kostic, and Arthur, Alfredo Pedullà relays (via Sportitalia). All three will most likely leave Turin this summer. Things are only preliminary at this stage.

Our Take on Juventus and Kadioglu

His skill set is similar to Andrea Cambiaso’s. They’d handle the defensive wings if the deal came together. Signing a stalwart from a Turkish team is always easier said than done. The Bianconeri have a few decent bargaining chips that would come in handy to other teams, but these things take time and are never too straightforward, as the Douglas Luiz deal showed.
