Juventus Duo Warns of Dangers of Porto Match and Injury Updates

Juan Cuadrado will miss at least the Champions League game versus Porto and the following Serie A tilt with Crotone because of a low grade biceps femoris strain in the right thigh as Juventus announced that he will re-evaluated in ten days. On the other hand, Aaron Ramsey and Paulo Dybala, who have sidelined recently by a thigh problem and a knee sprain, could be available Wednesday as they went into full training on Monday, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

Alex Sandro and Danilo, who are two former Dragoes, discussed the upcoming tilt in an interview with Sky Sport: “They are always a difficult team to face because of their culture and tradition. We were looking forward to this kind of clashes with trepidation when I was there. I am sure Sergio Conceiçao will prepare his side to try to win and advance,” Danilo stated.

The left-back weighed in: “Their mentality makes the difference, they are accustomed to big-time performances against top clubs at home. Juventus are aware of it though, we know it will not be easy but we are ready to play a great game.”

Danilo voiced his optimism despite the recent loss to Napoli: “I think our season has been positive thus far, we are in the running in every competition. We won our Champions League group that featured Barcelona, beating them soundly on the road.” Sandro seconded him: “The confidence-level of the players has improved a lot also thanks to some negative results.”

They duo also looked back at their intertwined career as they reunited at Juventus last year: “You can not speak about the history of Danilo without mentioning Alex Sandro and vice-versa, we have had the same journey. It is obviously nice and helpful to train and play alongside somebody whom you consider as family.”
