According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri will meet his agent in late September or early October. His deal lasts until 2026. There’s time to haggle, but the parties need to shake hands before next summer. Otherwise, he’ll be in the same position as Federico Chiesa, who ended up leaving for a low fee. His salary is an issue, as he’s making €10.5M due to previous clauses and the installments of his massive signing bonuses. It’ll further grow to €12M in the next two years without a new agreement.
