The future of Massimiliano Allegri has been subjected to intense speculations over the last couple of weeks, with the coach reportedly intentioned to leave without a new contract, Antonio Conte hinting at a reunion, and Juventus mulling other managers. However, nothing has been decided at this stage, Rai Sport’s journalist Marco Conterio stated on 90° Minute (via OneFootball).
The boss and the hierarchy will sit down in the spring to take stock of the season and decide the future together. If the club prefers going in another direction to open a new cycle, a contract resolution could be in the cards since his deal is up in 2025.
Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli addressed the rumors about Allegri to Sky before the match versus Monza.
“Giovanni Manna and I work daily with him. We also talk with CEO Maurizio Scanavino routinely. We have an extraordinary work group. We’re very happy with Allegri. He’ll blow away any other option. He’s a reference point. We want to hold onto him.”
